The Archaeological Museum of Corinth is designed around a narrative logic, in which the visitor approaches the ancient city as a traveller setting out beyond its walls. Upon entering the exhibition, important archaeological sites of the extra-urban zone are presented, introducing the visitor to the historical and geographical context of Corinth. The route then leads symbolically into the heart of the city, where the exhibits are organised chronologically and thematically, allowing visitors to follow the evolution of Corinthian society. Particular emphasis is placed on the Archaic and Classical periods, through representative examples of pottery, sculpture and inscriptions. The presentation is supported by explanatory texts and contemporary museographic practices, creating a coherent experience that combines knowledge with a narrative journey through space and time.
